Literature Text

I just stood there and watched. I watched her sitting on the edge of the boat, her feet dangling above the smooth lid of the hidden depts.

The sky above us was made of steel and like faulty machinery it whistled and blew away smothering gulfs of wind, flapping the thick cloth above our heads and loosening a string of her hair from behind her left ear. She then turned back, looking at me, smiling while she tucked her hair back in place and at that moment I realized love was truly the illusion of complete fulfillment as now I felt like I needed nothing more than to listen to the floorboards creak beneath her weight, to smile at the wind messing her hair, to look at her body slowly moving with the drifting ship of my loneliness as I stood there, on land watching from afar the scene inside my head.
Not my usuall subject because of the crazy amount of clichés around it, but I decided to give it a try. I hope you like it.

Very nice! Sure, there are some clichés but I'd say you used them well. :)
